Why Do I Own mikegoldsworthy.com?

Doesn’t it seem a bit egocentric to have this domain? I guess it kind of is, but I have been thinking about getting it for quite a while. Ever since Mike Foster told me about being bummed that he wasn’t able to buy mikefoster.com because it is owned by some random technology coach and having to instead get itsmike.com, I’ve been thinking that maybe I should just go ahead and buy this domain just to have it, just in case I ever think of anything good to do with it.

So, that’s essentially what I’m doing. Maybe sometime in the future I’ll have a great use for it, but until then I’ll make sure that some other Mike Goldsworthy doesn’t get it, and I may as well make use of it with a blog while it doesn’t serve any other purpose.
